Our History

The road-making machinery division was part of Powerplus since 2004.

In 2008, after intensive in-depth market study, Chairman Marcus Ong decided to branch it out into a specialised business unit after observed an untapped opportunity in the market.

Marcus had sets his goal and direction clear at start, POWERPAC is built to cater to the mid-range market customers who places more focus with performance and affordability. 

The nascent company POWERPAC thus began to manufacture and supply road-making machinery such as vibratory rollers, pneumatic tires and tandem rollers as well as asphalt finishers and milling machines.

Besides its core manufacturing activities, POWERPAC is the exclusive worldwide distributor of POWERPLUS construction equipment. With this synergy, it greatly widened POWERPAC’s value proposition as a One-Stop solution provider with no less than 300 models of construction equipment, road-making machinery, plants and trucks.

In 2015, POWERPAC received the Singapore Prestige Brand – Established Award, Superbrands 2015 – 2016 and Enterprise 50 Award which we leapfrog from the 38th in 2013 to 15th position in 2015.

 

In less than a decade, POWERPAC has already been awarded 12 accolades under its belt. These  serves as a strong reflection in recognition of the performance and quality of our products, services and most importantly, the continuous effort of POWERPAC in improving ourselves to stay competitive and relevant in this ever changing business environment.
