SPORTS
Contribution to World Nam Wah Pai Martial Arts Sports Association
POWERPAC supports the World Nam Wah Pai Martial Arts Sports Association, an organization that aims to advance and promote the traditional Chinese martial art and knowledge in a scientific and systematic way to the world. Headquartered in Singapore., it has branches in New Zealand and Hong Kong.
GOODWILL PROJECTS
Establishing Factories in Developing Nations
POWERPAC’s focus is on two main ways in which it can contribute to international rural development- through investment in factories, as well as creating jobs for the locals.
POWERPAC recognizes that manufacturing facilities and factories would bring about economy growth in developing countries. Its manufacturing plants in Brazil, India, Uzbekistan, Nigeria and Russia have helped to create large, skilled labour forces in rural areas and educate the people who supply them, as well build important infrastructure.
ARTS AND CULTURE
Contribution to the Tai Guan Ong See Clan Association
POWERPAC supports the arts and cultural scene by contributing to the Tai Guan Ong See Clan Association, an organization rich in culture and heritage. With more than 100,000 members in Singapore, it offers scholarships and bursaries to needy students. Its reach extends beyond providing assistance to the less-fortunate in their daily lives and needs, but also into social efforts like setting up schools, hospitals and driving charity efforts.
Contribution to the Singapore Hokkien Ong Clanmen General Association
POWERPAC pays tribute to the Singapore Hokkien Ong Clanmen General Association, a kinship-based Chinese Clan association. Monetary contributions are made for the preservation of Singapore’s rich Chinese heritage.
POWERPAC recognises the clan’s contributions in so many arenas and that the preservation of their values remain integral to the development of our society as a whole.
Offering Internships to University Undergraduates
POWERPAC views education as a cornerstone for the development of society. Offering internship opportunities to undergrads where they will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience is arguably one of the best opportunities for both mentor and mentee.
